About Hudson Rising
The Hudson Rising 2013 River Tour has been building momentum since the 2009 Quadricentennial, starting with the collaborative OurHudson, which produced a public listening tour, task forces, priority reports, an interactive barge tour, and commissioned the documentary Hudson Rising, focusing on the future of the Hudson River Valley. Building on this grassroots effort, the 2013 Hudson Rising river tour goal is to engage more people, while supporting green jobs and tourism around our natural resources. The 2013 Hudson Rising River Tour is made possible by a broad collaborative of green groups, farmers, forward-thinking business, local and state agencies and a grant from the New York State Department of Economic Development and I LOVE NY.
